Not modules to complete. A register of deliverables with your name against them, and a reviewer waiting for each one.
You hold one discipline for the length of the job. The deliverables carrying your discipline code land on your register with numbers, revisions and dates, and you issue them for review the way the project requires.
The project runs from FEED deliverables through HAZID and HAZOP, requisitions and bid evaluation, into site queries, punch lists and commissioning. You see how a decision on a P&ID in week one shows up as a punch item at the end.
A facilitator reviews each submission and returns comments against the document, not a score. Live sessions, a curated library and an AI mentor that knows your role and your open comments sit beside the work while you fix it.

The Virtual Design Office
A brownfield gas metering and pressure reduction skid tie-in, run end to end the way a real EPC runs one. You hold a discipline, you carry deliverables on the register, and your work is reviewed by an engineer before it is approved.
Graduates arrive knowing the theory and stall on the practice. They have never seen a Master Deliverable Register, never issued a document for review, never had a lead return a drawing with fourteen comments on it, and never had to close those comments out before Friday.
None of that is difficult. It is simply unfamiliar, and it is what the first six months on a real project quietly test. The office removes the surprise by making those six months the training itself.
Nothing here is a mock-up. The registers, numbering, revision codes, review cycles and handover packs are the ones used on site, because a simulation that simplifies them would be teaching a thing that does not exist.
What you leave with
A portfolio of approved deliverables carrying your name and their revision history, a handover pack for the project, and a verifiable certificate. Work an interviewer can open, rather than a course you can name.
You are on a team

How the office works
Everyone in the office is working on the same live project from a different discipline, exactly as an engineering team does. Here is what that means for your day.
Junior process engineer, piping designer, document controller — one discipline, the way a real project assigns them. Your deliverables appear on the project's Master Deliverable Register with numbers, revisions and due dates, and the ones carrying your discipline code are yours.
You produce the document, issue it for review, and a facilitator returns it with comments against the drawing — not a grade. You revise, you resubmit, the revision advances. That loop is the job, and it is the part no course teaches.
Approved deliverables collect into a portfolio with your name and revision history on them, and a handover pack at the end of the project. It is the thing an interviewer can open, rather than a certificate saying you attended.
The seats in the office
You hold one seat for the length of the project, and the register hands you the deliverables that belong to it. Every seat below is filled on the same job at the same time, which is why the interfaces are real.
Own the PFDs and P&IDs, the heat and material balance, line sizing and equipment duties. Your drawings set what every other discipline builds from.
Route the lines in the 3D model, place supports, extract isometrics, and take off material a procurement engineer can order from.
Produce the single line diagram, the load list and the cable schedules, and classify the hazardous areas the layout creates.
Issue the instrument index and datasheets, draw the loops and hook-ups, and write the cause and effect the shutdown is built on.
Hold the register itself: numbering, revisions, issue codes, transmittals, and the handover dossier the project is judged on.
Size the foundations and the pipe rack, detail the steel and the rebar, and take off the concrete and structural material.
Run the HAZID and HAZOP on the team's own drawings, raise the actions, and chase them to closure before the gate.
Raise the requisitions, evaluate the bids technically, expedite the packages, and take the project through punch list to mechanical completion.
Drafting seats sit alongside the engineering ones — P&ID, piping and 3D modelling, structural detailing, mechanical, electrical and instrument drafting.
Who takes a seat
The office does one thing: it puts you on a real engineering project with a real register and someone senior marking your work. These are the people that helps.
You have the theory and no project history. Take a seat on a live job, carry deliverables through review to approval, and finish with a portfolio instead of an empty experience section.
Moving from operations into design, or from one discipline into another, means learning a new register and a new review cycle. Hold the new seat here first, on a project where a mistake costs nothing.
Put an intake through the office before they reach a real project. You see their reviewed deliverables and how they answered comments, which tells you more about them than an interview does.
If your documents are rejected by the client's document controller, the gap is process, not engineering. Run a cohort through the register, the issue codes and the squad check until they are second nature.
